I finally found my way with ring slings when Conrad was born. I had my eye on a double linen Sakura Bloom..but then I discovered Pslings...and the rest is history. My brick blue Sijira (pictured in the blog header) is on it's way! Luckily, I got an amazing deal on my sling on The Babywearer for sale or trade forum.
I know, I know...a sling anouncement seeems a little self involved and crazy, but when nesting kicks in, I go a little nuts. For your interest, I have included my Nesting FAQ's.
NESTING FAQ
#1 - With what will you diaper this baby?
This kit is amazing and has everything you need to get started right. Contact me if you'd like the coupon code for January.
#2 - Where will this baby sleep? Isn't your bed a little full?
Why, yes it is...so this time around we will be adding the Arms Reach Universal CoSleeper to our bedtime real estate. It brilliantly attaches to the side of your bed (at the level of your mattress) with out any gaps or hazards.
#3 - Do you really get excited about his kind of stuff?
You know, yes, I do. I am pretty sure that it is hormonally driven, because each time I become pregnant, I think, "I won't go crazy over baby stuff this time, I'm too mature for that". And then every pregnancy just past the halfway mark, it hits me like a ton of bricks!
Have I mentioned that I am excited to have a new sweet baby? I can hardly wait! Future updates to come...
One more thing...check out my very LUCKY sister!

Omigosh, how did I miss this news?!!! Congratulations!
I always love hearing about what new sling you're going to get --- you are always my go to person for baby product questions.
I've kind of always said that the newborn/baby stage is my least favorite, which is a pretty horrible thing to say. But I have to admit, I am loving it with Clementine. I'm not sure what the difference is from my 2 other kids, maybe I'm changing. Don't know. But I am IN LOVE with her (yes, I still love my other children). I just mean I'm loving her as a baby.
And your sister is lucky! That's awesome that she won.
love the new background!
I will NOT have another baby just so I can try out that sling. IwillnotIwillnot.
your sister said anyone was welcome to come play...
:)
Oh, I always just love your blogs. So entertaining!!! I can't even remember if I ever had the nesting thing - so sad - so long ago. But I did love all of my babies and especially rocking them when they were tiny and smelling their sweet heads.
Staci, you're a hoot. I love your blog. Jim
Love it. Keep it coming. THis is the kind of stuff we all (apparently) love. I hope you never get more mature, I mean, in a good way, because we all love to hear about this stuff, and if you were above it, well... it just wouldn't be as fun. Like Meg said last time I saw her "maturity is overrated!!"
I am so excited for your new baby too!
Your sister's big win is awesome, but I'm mostly jealous that she has such a huge yard to put that playset in!! We need a serious photo of the family bed, I can't believe you guys are in a 2-bedroom with your family and I never once hear you complain about it! You are in inspiration. Keep it up!
The sling was my go-to for the girls, but now my shoulder gets sore, so it's back to the wrap for me. I've used a co-sleeper with all my kids, and am looking forward to doing it again! I think a bigger car will be my accessory this time. A '93 Suburban--should remind me of high school, just what I need!
Can you e-mail me that wrap link you were telling me about last night? Also, have you seen the Neobulle wraps that are made in France? Very elegant, I think.
Love the sling. We have one in the bed and one in the mini cosleeper. I love the co sleeper, but am ready to give the bed one the boot. I don't know how you do it. I am so ready to reclaim my space. Josh doesn't care...I thinkn he "gets" the same amount of space either way.
My Arm's Reach co-sleeper is the number one best baby thing I have. I love it so much.
I have been buying Camilla presents.
Have you moved here yet?
I think you are very mature. ;)
I was visiting teaching today and we were just talking about co sleepers and I have to say, I wish they had those when Mary was a baby. I am SO excited for your baby. What kind of stuff do you need? Anything that Clara has not spit up or pooped on is yours. Seriously though, I love to shop for girl stuff, so after you inventory, let me know what you're in need of. Happy Nesting!
